Crispy Chicken Tenders Recipe

Ingredients
For the chicken:
- 500 g chicken breast (cut into tenders/strips)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp soy sauce (optional for flavor)
- 1 egg
For the coating:
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup breadcrumbs or panko
- ½ cup cornflakes crushed (optional, extra crunch)
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Pinch of salt
For frying:
- Oil for deep frying
Optional dipping sauce:
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Pinch of black pepper

Instructions
1️⃣ Season the chicken
- In a bowl, add chicken strips.
- Add salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, soy sauce, and egg.
- Mix well and let marinate 15–30 minutes.
2️⃣ Prepare the coating
- In one bowl: flour.
- In second bowl: breadcrumbs + crushed cornflakes + paprika + pepper + pinch of salt.
3️⃣ Coat the chicken
- Dip chicken in flour → shake off excess.
- Dip in egg mixture again if needed for thick crust.
- Roll in breadcrumbs/cornflake mix until fully coated.
4️⃣ Fry
- Heat oil to 170–180°C.
- Fry chicken for 5–6 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Place on paper towel to remove extra oil.
Air fryer option:
- Spray with oil and cook at 200°C for 12–15 min, flipping halfway.
5️⃣ Make dipping sauce
Mix mayo + mustard + honey + lemon + pepper.
